How the site is funded, and what that does and does not touch.

Alpha Finance is free to use and has no paywall. It is funded by affiliate links. This page explains which links those are, how they pay, and what they cannot influence.

Which links

An affiliate link on this site is a link to an exchange's sign-up page. They appear in the "Featured platform" box in research articles and may appear as sign-up links on tool and dashboard pages. If you open an account through one, the exchange pays Block Media Pty Ltd a referral fee or a share of trading fees. There is no cost to you, and the terms you receive are the exchange's standard terms unless the link states otherwise.

An affiliate link is not a recommendation. Whether an exchange suits you, and whether it is available to you where you live, is for you to check before you open an account.

The exchange logos on the home page show where the terminal's data comes from. They are not links.

How to recognise one

• In research: Affiliate links appear only inside the "Featured platform" box, which says so in the box. The body of an article carries none.
• On the terminal: Sign-up links to an exchange may be affiliate links. Links to a data source, a filing or another page on this site are not.
• To search engines: Every affiliate link is marked rel="sponsored".

What they do not touch

• Data: An exchange's figures are displayed as published, whether or not it has a referral arrangement with us.
• Scores: A featured platform's score is set by us, using the criteria in the methodology, before any commercial conversation. A platform cannot pay to be featured or to change its score.
• Dashboard scores and flags: Where a dashboard scores or flags something, such as DeFi pools or DEX pairs, the rule is stated on the page and applies the same way to every row.
• Coverage: No partner sees research before it is published or can pay for coverage. See the editorial policy.
• Which exchanges appear: The exchanges on the terminal are there because they publish the data the terminal reads, not because they pay.

Other income

The site does not sell subscriptions, display programmatic advertising, or accept payment for placement. If that changes, this page will say so before it does.
