These terms govern your use of alphafinance.io and everything published on it, which is provided by Block Media Pty Ltd (ACN 671 787 965). Using the site means you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

General information only

Everything on the site, including market data, charts, calculators, scores, research, Alpha AI answers and The Weekly Alpha, is general information about digital-asset markets. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset, and it does not take your objectives, financial situation or needs into account. Digital assets are volatile, and you can lose everything you put in. Before acting on anything you read here, consider whether it is appropriate for you and seek advice from a licensed professional.

Much of the terminal covers leveraged derivatives. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains, and a leveraged position can be liquidated in full within minutes. A pattern in past data is not a forecast, and past performance says nothing reliable about future results.

Block Media Pty Ltd does not hold an Australian financial services licence and does not provide financial product advice or dealing services. It is a publisher. It holds no client money and executes no trades.

Who the site is for

The site is written for adults. If you are under 18, please do not use it. It is published from Australia and is not directed at anyone in a place where publishing or reading it would be against the law. You are responsible for following the laws that apply where you live.

Some products that appear in the data, such as leveraged derivatives, prediction markets and tokenised stocks, are restricted or not offered to residents of some countries, and that can include Australia. Showing data about a product or a platform is not an offer of it, or an invitation to use it.

Data

Figures on the terminal are read from third-party exchanges and data providers, as described in the methodology. Some are estimates produced by a provider's model and are labelled as such, and some are calculated by us from reported data. Feeds can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and so can calculations. We do not warrant that any figure is accurate, complete or current, and you should confirm a figure with its source before relying on it.

Calculators and tools

Tools such as the liquidation-price and position-size calculators apply the stated formula to the inputs you give them. Real exchanges apply their own rules, fees, funding and maintenance margins, which the tools do not replicate. Treat a tool's output as an illustration, not a prediction of what an exchange will do.

Alpha AI

Alpha AI does not give financial advice: Its answers are general information only. They are not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset, however an answer is worded and whatever you ask it. It knows nothing about your objectives, financial situation or needs, and it is not a substitute for a licensed adviser. Do not make a financial decision on the strength of an answer.

Alpha AI is a beta. Its answers are generated by an AI model from a snapshot of terminal data, are not reviewed by a person, and can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Daily limits apply and the service may be changed or withdrawn without notice. Do not enter personal or account information. The privacy policy explains what happens to a question.

Scores and research

Platform scores, pool trust scores, risk flags and research are our opinion, formed by the methods described in the methodology and the editorial policy. A high score is not an assurance that a platform or pool is safe, and the absence of a risk flag does not mean there is no risk.

Accounts

An account is optional and only keeps your My Terminal dashboard. One account is for one person. Keep access to the email address or Google account you sign in with, because that is how the account is reached. You can delete your account at any time from My Terminal. We may suspend or remove an account that is used to abuse the site or its data feeds. The privacy policy explains what an account stores.

Availability

The site is free and is provided as it is. We may change, suspend or remove any dashboard, tool or feature without notice, and we do not promise that the site will be available without interruption. Automated limits protect the data feeds, and traffic that looks automated or abusive may be slowed or blocked.

No liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Block Media Pty Ltd and its officers, employees and contributors are not liable for any loss or damage, including trading losses, arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything published on it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where our liability under that law cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

Content and use

The site's design, code, text, charts and research are owned by Block Media Pty Ltd or its licensors. You may read, share links to, and quote short extracts of the site's content with attribution. You may not republish substantial parts of it, scrape it systematically, or use it to build a competing service without written permission. Third-party data remains subject to its provider's terms.

The names and logos of exchanges, funds, companies and tokens belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the data. Their appearance is not an endorsement of us by them, or of them by us. Alpha Finance is not affiliated with Alpha Finance Lab or Alpha Venture DAO.

Links

The site links to third-party exchanges, feeds and articles. Some are affiliate links, as described in the affiliate disclosure. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products or terms. An account you open with an exchange is a matter between you and that exchange.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute is subject to the courts of that state. We may update these terms. The review date on the card beside them shows when they were last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept it. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
